Good food, not spicy enough

I love this restaurant! Best place to bring a date! And they give you a lot of food for what you ordered. Definitely will return!

Tried this place before with a friend and I am obsessed ever since. I enjoyed the great ambience and fresh food and drinks. I recommend this place.

Last time I was here was many years ago, and I have mixed feelings about my dining experience.The decor was on point, the wait staff were delightful, but the food...was not what I remembered.We had black bean noodles, eight seafood combo, Mongolian beef, etc.Many of the dishes were on salty side and missing the nuanced flavors we were looking for.I’m hoping that they revamp the flavor profile and stay faithful to the original recipes of the past.

Service is pretty good, we like the glass wall for watching chefs cooking. We ordered 6 dishes. Green bean is the best, chicken with mixed veggies is good, too. Everything else is ok for me. Maybe I have higher standards for food.

We we going to this restaurant for years and considered it as a best Chinese place. Not anymore... Food was not tasty today and service is not as goog as it was. Sad 😭....

Fun to see the Chef's cooking right next to us. Great service and great food. Huge quantity. Great for group dining. Loved that it was also Korean Chinese food. I got to have my jajangmyeon!

Would have been a great score but this place completely forgot one of my two entrees. This really left a sour taste in my mouth considering I had been working all day and was really excited to have dinner. They need to take more care and pay attention to what they are sending.

This is a great place to go for a wonderful variety of Chinese Mandarin cuisine. Be sure to check out some of the menusonline. The atmosphere is awesome. And you get to watch them cook food. It's great for kids to have something to look at while waiting for their meal. Cozy booths and many tables makes this a hopping place to be. I met a friend here for dinner and had nice quiet conversation. We ordered the pad thai and the orange beef.

It is a healthier version of Chinese food. Love the hot and sour soup. Entree portions are large and generous with vegetables and seafood. My favorite is the seafood noodle bowl: spicey and full of shrimp, scallops, clams etc.

Our waiter was so nice! Food and drinks were good! Bathrooms need to be attended to more often. Garbages were overflowing and random pieces of paper towel were scattered everywhere.

Great place for Chinese and Asian cuisine. The food is very flavorful. The service is good. The restaurant is very busy during dinner hours. My fee favorite dish is the salty egg crab. This is the only place I know that serves it. The stir fried string bean is also good here. Enjoy.

We're new to the area and were looking for a new Chinese restaurant. After reading reviews, we decided to try. We won't order ever again. Unhelpful phone order person, small portions, no white rice with entrees and very expensive. Food not worth the cost. Moving on.

Good traditional Chinese restaurant with great steamed fish

Been coming here for years. Food is still very good but has gone down a little and has been under new management for some time now. Portions are still about the same maybe a little less but ingredients are fresh that they use in the dishes. Service was just ok. They got our order wrong and it took them awhile to bring out our appetizers. Plus, they didn’t bring all entrees to the table together. My husband had to wait awhile for his entree. Tea was luke warm not hot. Plus, one entree came to the table that none of us ordered and we had to tell them to take it back. A little disorganized with food and timing of bringing it. It was not busy so they should have been on top of things better.

The food is absolutely excellent! The service is outstanding! Comfy atmosphere and a great location!

It's pricy but amazing quality of food!

We really like Yu's. A friend of mine recommend it for lunch several years ago and now it is a nice dinner treat for the family. Service is great. The staff is all very friendly, and the important part, the food. The food is fantastic. My personal favorite entree is the Kung Pao chicken.

If you are vegetarian, this is the best place to have Asian food. You don't taste or smell meat in your vegetarian items. The price is reasonable and the quantity is plenty full. The quality of food and taste is great. The fried rice, bean curd and fried egg plant were made delicious. The cool part is you can watch all the cooks cooking the food through the panorama glass window they have. And they clean their pans after every dish they cook.

Food quality is consistent and above average. Lunch special on weekdays is the way to go.

Been going to this place to dine in and take outs too! However, experience last night was extremely poor, they know its mother's day yesterday and should have been prepared to accommodate the demand but no they rather not hire extra staff to save a few bucks that resulted a lot of angry customers waiting for their orders for 2 hours and when you got home orders are wrong and they expect you to pay top dollars for their lousy service! This place is a disgrace and staff should go to school to learn customer service training! I would have given them a minus 5 star rating! Dont waste your hard earned dollars on this restaurant! There's a lot of other reputable Asian restaurants in the area that offers better customer service and without paying for their way over priced dishes!!!

They missed 1/2 the order. When I called to get it taken care if they forgot me on hold for 19 minutes. I called back and the lady hung up on me after I told her my issue of missing food from my delivery. I called again and a different person took my number and never called me back. The food we did get was cold and awful. This used to be one of the best places in the area. Sad. I will never go back.

Yu's is consistently authentic and delicious. Portions are large and the price is extremely reasonable. I love coming here with my mom after we have foot massages. This place is also good for bigger groups. My extended family has celebrated a few birthdays in the back room. I always look forward to my next visit!

Delivery last night took over 2 hours. Food was lukewarm on arrival. Sesame Chicken was ok but only warm. Beef with broccoli was awful. Fried rice was steamed rice with a FEW pieces of meat. Charged for delivery. I am trying to support local business during the pandemic, but this kind of service doesn't deserve our support. When I called to tell them about this $80 order no one even picked up the phone at about 8:15. Never again although I have been in this restaurant several times before. Portions were as low what I consider luck chicken-not dinner - size-wise. Totally disgusted with the entire experience!!!!!!

Ruined Mothers Day for our family! We were supposed to have our food delivered between 5:30-6:00pm and at 5:59pm I get a text message from my sister saying that Yus cancelled our order. She was on the phone with them and Yus Mandarin had the nerve to say that we can wait an additional hour and pick it up ourselves or wait TWO HOURS to have it delivered. Yus Mandarin had accidentally cancelled our order but to make the customer go out of their way for a mistake they didnt make and still have the nerve to charge us? Ridiculous. No thank you.

Great Asian food, cooked by Asian cooks who are visible behind a full length glass wall.

We love this place. This is the best Asian food we have ever had! It is the kind of food we hope is served in heaven!

When we lived in Chicago this was one of favorite restaurants. Since we moved out of state this was my first visit back to the restaurant and it did not disappoint. The service was excellent and the food superb as I remember it. We ordered Sesame beef, Honey walnut chicken, and Fried tofu with mandarin bean curd. They were served family style and there was ample food for our party. We will definitely dine again the next time we are in town.

This is by far the BEST Chinese food in Schaumburg! I always go for lunch. There lunch prices are so cheap! There portion size is incredible, you actually get a ton of food! Their meat dishes are so delicious! I highly recommend checking this place out!

This spot obviously knows how to serve their clients. Regularly with a helpful attitude. The food is affordably priced, regularly tasty and clean.

Me and my wife love it here. We almost tried everything in their menu and all of them are tasty and good!. We will keep coming back.

Luncheon special prices are unbeatable. Their food quality has decreased recently and food tastes different than a few years back (did they change their chefs?). But I can usually count on Yu’s for a good experience. Got delivery twice here past few weeks through Uber Eats, no issues and food was very fast actually. Food being late was probably a bigger problem on the delivery company than Yu’s.

Had a good experience here with my friend. The food arrived rapidly and the customer service is just good. Prices are convenient.

Placed an order to take out and received a Peking Noodle with 3 delight, wich was noodles with onion only.... called to complain and the guy says they don't pre cook anything and that this won't be possible. Plus that we would not want to go there and return the food so they would see it. This place did not want to do anything about it and hang up me . This plate is supposed to have sea food and came with onion only. Absurd this place.

I go with my wife to this lovely place often! This is my favorite restaurant to to have a good dinner. I visit this place frequently. The cooking is just great, the staff members are friendly and the price is good. I like going in this place over a good dinner.

Food was delicious and hot. Plenty to go around, so order 1 item to share or two to have a different taste. Service was okay, but felt rushed to order and leave.

Always great food and service exceptional. Needed to add 2 more place settings for a Birthday gathering and they set the other 2 settings really quick as if they had been there to begin with. Love this restaurant.

This is the only place I have found that has my favorite dish! Szechuan green beans with beef, and it’s incredible. The selection is vast, the wait staff is absolutely amazing and so polite and accommodating. I couldn’t get enough of this place the first time I went! It’s all fresh and hot and nothing sits around. A++++

Fantastic food. They have lamb dishes besides lamb chops which instantly sets them apart. It was also incredibly delicious. Excellent service. The bartender never let my water get empty and asked if I wanted more rice when I was running low. It appeared to be perfect for date night, families, or friends getting together. I was a solo traveler in town on business but I still had the feeling that I belonged there, albeit at the bar. Good atmosphere. There are other restaurants in the area for when I'm back for work, but I will try to make it a point to come back.
